Company Code of Conduct

Purpose. This Code sets expectations of ethical conduct for all employees, officers, POSPs, contractors and partners of Bima Saathi.

Our principles

1. Customer First: Recommend solutions suitable for the customer’s needs and risk profile; avoid mis-selling.

2. Integrity & Transparency: Provide clear disclosures of benefits, exclusions, waiting periods, charges and policy conditions.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to the IRDAI (Insurance Brokers) Regulations, PoSP guidelines and all applicable laws.

4. Confidentiality & Data Protection: Protect customer information; collect/use only for legitimate purposes; follow this Privacy Policy.

5. Fair Marketing: No misleading claims, pressure tactics, discriminatory practices or disparagement of competitors/insurers.

6. Conflict of Interest: Disclose and manage conflicts; company interest and customer interest take precedence.

7. Anti-Fraud & Whistleblowing: Zero tolerance to fraud, bribery or corruption. Report concerns to support@bimasaathi.in in good faith.

8. Dignity & Inclusion: Maintain a respectful, safe and inclusive workplace; no harassment or discrimination.

9. Claims Support: Assist customers honestly during claims with documentation and escalation support; no false promises on outcomes.

10. Use of Company Assets: Use systems, brand assets and data responsibly; no unauthorised copying or external sharing.

11. Breach & Consequences. Violations may lead to disciplinary action, including termination and legal proceedings.

12. Acknowledgment. All personnel must read, understand and comply with this Code and complete periodic compliance trainings.
